Too Hillarious - and some days you just need that.

I borrowed this from a blog I read regularly. She says it's a Canadian ad - but I don't really care where it's from cause it's just about the funniest thing I've seen all week. So watch and enjoy.

The one about The Far Side

I'd like to direct your attention to the Cake Wrecks site today. Jen has done a truly fabulous tribute of sorts to Gary Larson and The Far Side. It's worth checking out. Either click on one of the links above or head over to my sidebar and click from there. Either way you're sure to be glad you did.

Ring Wreath

In one of my blog wandering episodes - I came across a wreath made of rings from canning jars. I spent a couple hours trying to find it again today and Finally did. The original wreath was from Funky Junk Interiors and was made with antique rings and looked really cool. The next generation one - from Lemon Tree Creations - had been spray-painted into the bloggers favorite colors. I decided to do mine like hers only for July.

I used a dollar store foam wreath and just cut it to slip the rings on. I covered the wreath in ribbon to hide the ugly green color. Then I found the wooden stars I had made years ago as part of a really ugly door decoration. So I cut them off and glue-gunned them onto this one where I didn't have enough rings to go all the way around. I am very pleased with the result.

It's a Girl!

My brother and his wife found out yesterday that they are having a girl. She's already cute. This will even out the Grandkids for my parents to 4 girls and 4 boys.

I have no doubt that Ralph will be great with a daughter. He's had plenty of practice dressing up and dancing around in tutu's.
Congratulations Ralph and Kristina.
