Camping on the 4th

Instead of battling the Hannah Montanna Madness to view the fireworks in Provo this year, we decided to go camping. We just went up Hobble Creek and had the BEST time. The kids were able to play in the creek and we cooked over a fire and did all the usual camping stuff. We were also able to hang up the hammock Ralph brought me from Peru for the first time. I've never had anywhere to hang it before and it was great. We've already planned to go back up there and request the same sight so we can put it up again. We had to set a timer for the kids turns so no one got longer in the hammock than anyone else. Thanks Ralph. Check out the pictures - they're fun.Gathering kindling sticks for the fire.

Hillary in the hammock. For Grandma Tinka - She has on Connor's flag shirt because I didn't bring hers and she WANTED. TO. WEAR. IT!! Feel good that it was a big hit with her.

I'd rather play out in the woods any day VS a crowd!

Thanks for participating!

Good for you for skipping the crowds and heading to the canyon... there's something about camping that is oh so much fun! And doesn't food just taste better? Kinda weird, but true..

If I weren't such an animal lover, I probably wouldn't have pets either.

Thanks for stopping by!
